Understanding your hair
Curly hair has its own rule.
- It comes in many shapes and sizes.
- It can be incredibly dry or intensely moist.
- There is no end to the selection of colours that are available.
The main point is there are two kinds of curly hair, manageable and unmanageable. Curls that are manageable can be left natural where as impossible curls need to be styled and pampered.
Choosing the right products
Products for curly hair come in two types, one for Control and the other for Styling. There are so many wet styling products for curly hair which will help to maintain curl. It is important to know what you want your curly hair to do and this will make choosing the right product a whole lot easier. Ask your hair stylist to recommend the ideal product.
It is a different story if you are trying to style curly hair. Using all kinds of rollers e.g. Bendy Rollers and Self Hold Rollers you can even out any kind of curl to make it more manageable. You can even use radial brushes to soften curls or a Paddle Brush and Thermal Straightener to straighten your hair and achieve a completely different look.
Tip: Put on a Hair Net while your hair is drying to reduce the weight and to pick up the curls. When you take the net off and gently shake your hair and you will have beautiful contained curls.
