Great classic brush
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I feel this is a great all round classic brush. I have long thin hair, that tends to fall and break easily. And this works great for my hair. My husband also seems to like to use it so I’m sure it would be great for the whole family. I also love the simple clean look, and love the bamboo. Always start towards the ends and work your way up when detangling. My previous plastic brush has been replaced. I received this paddle brush as part of a trial team, but couldn’t be happier with it. I definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OH MY GOD. This is the first brush that has been able to painlessly de-tangled my curly frizzy hair. It's crazy that I went so long in my life without this brush. 20 years without this brush was wasted trying to detangle my hair whilst probably severally damaging it. Not to mention all the pain it has caused me. This brush was a solution to all that and it's even amazing in the shower when I am brushing my hair out. Works like a charm and dries so quickly. I even use it to style my bangs, which I can't usually do with brushes except for the cylindrical type. I am so satisfied with this product.

Essential basic
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have naturally thick wavy hair, therefore I find that most brushes I use don’t go all the way through my hair. The bristles on the brush are long enough that it’s able to go through all my hair. I also like that the bristles are not tightly packed together and have some space between them. As I have wavy hair this means that the space in between the bristles doesn’t make my hair frizzy and keeps some of natural hair shape. I like that the bristles are not made of metal or hard plastic. The wooden bristles are still soft and are not harsh on my scalp and cause ‘scratching’ like typical metal or hard plastic bristles.

Lady Jayne Paddle Scalp Brush
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this Lady Jayne Paddle Scalp Brush comfortable to hold and is gentle on my scalp. It feels strong and is beautifully made. It is a little smaller than my old brush, so it will take some time to get used to. Having thick hair I found I need to apply more pressure in order to brush my hair throughly and to untangle any knots I have in my hair. I have noticed that since using this brush that the natural wooden pins have helped absorb and redistribute oils from my scalp to my ends and made it look shinier and healthier. I have been using it on wash days and so far love it! Recommend trying this brush out.

My new favourite brush!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was lucky enough to trial this hair brush and it did not disappoint! It is lightweight and easy to use. The wooden handle feels lovely when using the brush. I used this brush to brush my long hair every morning. It did not snag and it easily detangled my hair without pulling or causing breakage. The bristles are soft yet effective. I am very happy that I got to trial this brush and I will continue to use it daily. I would recommend this brush to anyone who is looking for a lightweight and easy to use hair brush.

A really nice brush

Shame the packaging is in plastic- could had been in cardboard, would had gone well with the product.
I have really enjoyed using this brush. It’s light weight, and easy to clean too. I have noticed a slight wood smell but that’s to be expected- it’s natural. Easy to glide through the hair and with the wide brim I didn’t find my hair getting stuck as you do with other brushes. I think having the nob brissels helped. My only concern is how long is the durability of the brissel as it would end up poking you and not being comfortable. Time will tell with durability.

GREAT DETANGLING BRUSH

On wet hair the wide spaced bristles helped detangle my hair without breaking my hair.
it also worked well on dry hair stimulating my scalps natural oils and my hair was always shiny.
I have long hair that is quite thick. This hair brush covers a large section at a time and makes brushing a breeze. This broad paddle brush detangles and styles long hair in seconds. The bristles are very gentle on the scalp and don't pull the hair.
This paddle brush is very light weight

Beautiful paddle brush
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would start by saying I prefer this paddle brush over my other $55 branded paddle brush.
This paddle brush is really fantastic. It is beautifully constructed, sturdy, comfortable to grip and comfortable on the scalp. The bristles detangles both wet and dry hair, and hair does not get caught at the base (my pet peeve). The round bristles are gentle on the scalp. The handle is made from maple wood which Lady Jayne says is "resistant to bacteria". When I use it on wet hair the brush dries very quickly.

Great everyday brush.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time trying a wooden hairbrush and was pleasantly surprised at how well it removed knots in my daughter's hair without any pain. Very soft bristles so it was not painful at all. Removes a lot of fallen out hair with ease, easy to clean the brush also after use. Will continue to use this brush as my everyday hairbrush for myself and my daughter whilst replacing our other hairbrushes. Loved it! Highly recommend for all hair types also. Will not disappoint. The handle design is also great, easy to grip and very nice to handle.

A luxury brush that is great for day or night use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a master brush that works well for many uses. Firstly, in it packaging, it is beautifully presented but and looks well packaged but you don't get to see how gorgeous - yes gorgeous - the brush actually is!
More than this - once you do get to take it out of the box, the brush has several lovely features. The colour to begin with a very classy white wood, maple wood, in fact and is light on the hand, and the square design and rounded square handle is tastefully done, even with the brand name on it handle. The wood certainly makes you feel you are using a natural product and one that will last a lifetime.
Similarly the bristles have been well done, and are perfect for thick hair (like mine!), and gently 'stimulate' but also and I think importantly, help detangle, which is always a good thing when you wear your hair down. The bristles are the exact same colour of the brush and are rounded but firm and widely spaced.
A classy, stylish brush, this piece will look elegant on any dressing table and could even work as a rushed, drying hair brush or straightening paddle brush, and while the hair will fall through the bristles quickly,with a bit of product, it might just do the job. No doubt hair will dry very quickly with this brush, when brushing it with a hair dryer, but it is no doubt a glorious brush, perfect for a post-shower brush or when you need to treat your hair gently and one that I will use for years. Flawless really.

My new favourite
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my new favourite brush. And that’s coming from a girl who has bought the same brush for the last 5 years. This brush is amazing for my sometimes fragile coloured hair, the softness of the silicone bristles really just massages your scalp and doesn’t pull your hair as much as other brushes I have tried. The bamboo handle is so comfortable in my hand and also eco friendly so that makes me feel amazing about my choices. This brush makes it so easy to brush my always tangled hair without damaging it even further. Definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This big brush is amazing for long thick hair especially. It’s taken me a while to find a good brush that doesn’t just pull all my hair out. I was gratefully gifted this one for my honest review and it’s definitely won me over. Doesn’t damage the hair if it’s wet either. Gets theough the tough knots easy and great for my daughters hair too with no screams. It’s a nice sleak oatmeal look. On the more expensive side from brushes I normally buy but worth the extra money to have non damaged hair. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a new brush to add to your daily routine.

Good for knots
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve recently tried the Lady Jayne Paddle Scalp Brush and loved it. My daughter gets lots of knots and I’ve tried different brushes but I struggle to get her knots out. I always use a detangler spray on her as well but still struggled. But when I used the detangler spray with this paddle brush I found that the knots were coming out a lot easier. I definitely love using this brush and my daughter loves it too. I would recommend this paddle brush especially if your child gets knots like mine does.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved loved this brush. It has just the right amount of hardness to the Bristles to untangle hair and can be used both with wet and dry hair. I found it great for my hair that is thinck and wavy. I always struggle to find the right brush but this one is perfect. I will Definitely be continuing tp use this brush and recommend to family and friends. The price is good and especially for the quality of brush you are getting. I will be looking into more lady Jayne products now that I have tried this wonderful brush. If you are questioning weather to buy this brush, I would say do it as you won’t be disappointed!!!!

Love this brush

I have used tangle teezers before because I have thick hair that is prone to tangles and I like that is is gentle and prevented breakage. I was therefore hesitant to try this brush. However I really liked it and found it had the same effect on my hair. Not only is the brush nice to hold and look at, it also is kind on my hair. It easily brushes through my hair without breakage and is gentle enough while also making sure no knots remain. I really like this brush and it is now my go to for sure! Would definitely recommend.

The bristles are soft enough so that they don’t hurt your hair yet they effectively detangle any knots. I use this brush every morning and it keeps my hair straight and tangle free. I have not experienced any hair breakage whilst using this brush so that is a bonus! I would highly recommend this hair brush as it does what it says and it certainly meets my expectations of a good quality hair brush.

It’s big and doesn’t pull the hair. It’s easy to clean and a nice slick look. I will definitely re buy this brush when I need to but so grateful I got to try this one for my honest review in return. I love this brand for hair accessories they always get it right. Making brushing hair easier especially for the little ones. Amazing Hair Brush
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was lucky enough to review the Lady Jayne Paddle Scalp Brush. I am very happy with the size of the brush and the paddle width, this helps with brushing the oils through your hair and makes the process a lot quicker. It's designed to be used on non hair washing days so that the natural oils can be pushed through all of your hair and not just stay at the roots. I found that this hair brush did distribute my natural hair oils through to my tips (shoulder length hair) and made my whole hair shine. I only wash my hair once a week and this brush has definitely helped push through the oils that would normally build up on my scalp and result in itching.

Fantastic Brush for the non wash days!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was selected to review the Lady Jayne Paddle Scalp Brush by the Trial Team and I am SO impressed by this hair brush! I only wash my hair once a week so the natural oils do start to show by mid week. This brush breaks down the oil build up on the scalp which allows the rest of your hair to benefit from the oils. It adds a lovely glow to your hair and paired with some dry shampoo it also gives your hair a bit of volume. The large paddle brush head glides with ease through your hair and gently goes through knots without causing hair breakage. I found it to work really well on my daughters thick hair and there was less yanking of the brush which made it a much more pleasant experience for both of us!

Massaging Scalp Experience
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this brush as a part of a trial team and have noticed a differnce after adding it to my nightly routine. I used this brush every non wash night and found it to be a great addition. I followed the instructions that came on the packaging which stated to brush the lengths of your hair out first starting at the bottom and working up towards the scalp. The brush worked alright well at getting knots out but did notice it never got them all. It then said to focus on the scalp including flipping your head down and brushing your hair down focusing on the scalp. This provided the scalp with a great massage and definitely helped to minimise the scalp getting so oily. I did find though after flipping my head sown to brush it out when I would flip it back over and attempt to brush back through from the scalp I would have new tangles in my hair. I would then have to rebrush from the lengths back up to the scalp. I felt like doing this nightly helped to add volume to my hair around my scalp. I also feel like it has helped with hair growth as my hair started to feel like it was growing faster then usual.

Love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking for a hair brush that is gentle on the hair and scalp but still very effective. So I was very excited to be able to try out the Lady Jayne paddle scalp brush.
I really like the size as it covers a lot more surface area that other hair brushes, so makes brushing my hair much quicker and easier. I find it very gentle, particularly if my hair is very knotty and tangled. It feels good on the scalp, the bristles are gentle enough to not cause any discomfort but it is still very effective. Also looks good sitting on my vanity

Paddle scalp brush
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently trialled the lady Jane paddle scalp brush. Firstly, the design of the brush was lovely. It looked aesthetic! I used this as my normal day to day brush for three weeks. The strong brittles worked successfully at removing my hair knots. My hair had little to no breakage whilst using this brush which I really liked. I found that if I used this brush on wet hair, my hair knots would stay in and become more tangled, however on dry hair the brush worked really well. The brush was strong, good quality and it’s an affordable price. I would recommend and I will continue to use this product

Great brush!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was on the lookout for a hairbrush that I can use for everyday and styling. I was very pleased with this brush as it glides through my hair very easily and gets rid of my knots so well without too much hair falling out. It is also efficient to use for styling (especially when I brush out my curls). I’ve also tried using it on wet hair and there were no issues, perfect to use for detangling, and getting any knots out after washing my hair. I use this brush every day and it does a good job at making my hair nice and smooth. It’s also not a very heavy brush and stylish. Can’t live without this paddle brush!

Nice for brushing, not styling
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I noticed there was a tooth missing on my brush after using it the first time. I think it must have fallen out before using it though because I haven't lost any more since.
It's a nice brush and I find I use it mostly when my hair is dry and just needs to be brushed, not styled. I wouldn't use it for styling, even just putting it up on a ponytail, because the shape is a bit large and awkward.
It is really nice though. My hair is thick but fine and it did a good job of detangling and smoothing.

Great brush
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This brush is really nice and I can definitely feel the bristles reaching my scalp, which is the purpose of a paddle brush!
It doesn’t catch or pull. It glides really well through dry hair. And it’s really comfortable on my scalp.
The bristles are a smooth wood, set in a synthetic brush base on the wooden handle.
One of the bristles fell out during my first use, and while it doesn’t impact the efficacy of the brush, I was still disappointed with that. But if that’s it’s only fault then that’s pretty great!

A brush for the scalp and not untangling hair.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was lucky enough to receive this item as part of a trial team.
The first few times I used this brush, I must admit I was a bit disappointed with the results. it is hopeless when it comes to removing knots/tangles and the thick, wide spaced bristles aren’t useful for styling either. However after attempting to use it a few times, I realised this isn’t really the purpose of this product.
The thick, wide spaced bristles have smooth blunt tips which feel great when gently dragged across the scalp. The cushion on the brush is soft enough to avoid too much pressure being applied to the scalp by the hard bristles. The simple wooden bristles do an amazing job of distributing oil natural oils through the hair. This brush is good to use after combing/brushing out knots, but before styling, or on those days where you are staying home and don’t need to style. It helps keep the natural oils well distributed and the scalp healthy.

Great brush
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I send thanks to the beautyheaven team for inviting me to trial this product. I really liked this brush. I love wood, the feel of wood and smell of wood, and this was a really nice contrast to my usual plastic-handled brush, which is hard to the touch. The wooden paddle backing is hard enough to provide pressure to the head to smooth hair, but the spongy blue plastic/silicon is forgiving so the spokes detangle without hurting! I wash my hair everyday, so I can't comment on the oil distribution feature, however, the brush was good at detangling my hair and felt relaxing on the scalp. Only negative is that my hair readily moults and it is tricky to remove hairs amongst the flexible brush spokes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone with normal straight Asian hair, I found this scalp brush to be good. The brush itself was lightweight and easy to grip, making it simple to use in the shower while shampooing or even just normal brushing. While the bristles were soft enough to not cause any discomfort on my scalp, I didn't notice much of a difference in terms of improving blood circulation. It did feel nice to use and made my scalp feel clean, but nothing particularly outstanding - I would recommend the Lady Jayne Restorative Scalp Brush instead. I personally prefer a detangler with thin flexible plastic bristles to remove knots out of my hair (noting my hair isn't that knotty to begin with), so I can't imagine someone with very curly hair / stubborn knots using this..

Like a massage for the scalp
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed using this hair brush on my non washing days. It was great at detangling my hair while also felt lovely and soft on my scalp. Unlike other brushes, the soft silicone bristles really worked to massage my scalp which felt lovely. This would be a great option for someone with a sensitive scalp unlike other brushes with corse bristles. I suffer from a dry, itchy and dandruff prone scalp so I found this brush a great addition to my brush line-up used in conjunction with the 'Lady Jayne Restorative Scalp Brush'.
