Always brush your hair in sections.
Start mid-way of a few centimetres from your ends to gently remove any tangles.
Finish with a few brush strokes from root to tip to distribute your scalp's natural oils.

Great for long hair.
I love this paddle brush. It detangles with ease and the large size really cuts down on styling time. It's great on both wet and dry hair and leaves my hair smooth and frizz free.

Love this brush
I purchased this brush couple of months ago and absolutely love it. My hair is quite short, but dry, curly and wavy and tangles terribly. I'd always hated brushing my hair until I got this brush. It is so easy to use, tangles and knots disappear in a second. And my hair becomes smooth and silky- whaaaat!? Just from brushing it!? That wasn't something I was used to nor something I've ever expected. Love it and now I brush my hair few times a day. The brush is quite big, squishy handle is interesting feature and it does make brush fits in my hand perfectly, but it's not something important to me.

Great for finer hair types
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a lovely brush for my knot prone hair. Dual bristles (long plastic & short boar bristles) work really well when it comes to detangling.
I usually comb my hair through when wet with a wide tooth comb (to avoid breakage) and allow it to air dry. This brush works beautifully for when my hair is almost dry to get the remaining knots out and unifying my frizz-prone hair.
My hair is quite fine, so can't speak to how it would work for thicker or more curly hair.
Brush is on the larger side, so not sure how it would work for more intricate styling (as would be heavier than others available) and for that reason, probably not suitable for children.

Good brush
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This brush is very effective at detangling hair and glides nicely through your hair. I found using it to brush out curls, it was a bit too harsh and brushed out too many of the curls. It was great to use on straight hair though and did leave a nice shine to the hair. A few days in when my hair started to look a little oily, it did feel like it accentuated the oiliness but I put some dry shampoo in which covered this up. It is a very large brush so probably not one you would want to pack in your luggage but great for use at home.

Fabulous for brushing and tangles!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having been very familiar with Lady Jayne products over the years (their hair ties remain my absolute favourite!), I was very excited when I received some products from the brand to play around with. I was also in the market for a new hairbrush with the paddle brush arrived, and I’m pleased to report that it’s exactly what I was looking for!
I love the grip on this paddle brush, which makes it easy to hold while running it through my hair. The bristles are well placed and help soothe my scalp as I brush my hair, in addition to helping my hair look less frizzy, so that I can look more put together and groomed. I really like how beautiful this looks on the dresser as well! I would recommend getting one!

Flexibility to love
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the Salon Pro Paddle Brush. The head of the brush is molded in a way that allows the brush to be flexible enough to follow the shape and contours of your head. Absolutely perfect for achieving a slick ponytail.
I also achieved great volume from the brush which was unexpected
, but welcomed.
This brush had replaced the good old and faithful (as long as my daughter doesn't keep stealing it). The paddle brush is also lightweight and comfortable to hold in the hand, making use a breeze.

Good for straight hair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that this brush is gentle — although I do usually prefer something with slightly more "oomph", the softness of the boar bristles is probably better for my hair!
My hair is straight and relatively thin, and it works well, but I do wonder how it would go getting through thicker hair.
It's a nice brush to use with a blowdryer or to prep hair for heat styling, and I do like that the wide paddle head features a combo of boar bristles and harder nylon bristles, so you get the best of both worlds while brushing. Also great for brushing out curls for more volume and a less structured look.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried out this Lady Jane Salon Pro Paddle Brush.
It is a gorgeous looking brush with the black and gold, it does get tangles out, but I found it turned my bleached fine hair into frizz instead of a smooth finish. I think this is caused by the bristles. I gave this to my niece to try and she also said her hair went a bit frizzy though did get her tangles out. She has thick natural hair. I also found it very flexible and bendy, which doesn't suit me when I'm using it to dry my hair, I need it to hold my hair firmly. So overall wasn't for me.

Sleeky finishing brush
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The paddle brush is super flexible and has different type of bristles. I appreciate that it does not tug or rip hair out when brushing wet or dry. It works great with the 2in1 hair styler, both when straightening hair or when brushing out curls. The only con would be that depending on your hair type, it may leave hair slightly static looking as I experienced this when using a particular conditioner, but not another. Rather, left my hair super sleeky when finishing.
All in all, I rate this a 3/5, great value for money, does as expected and super super convenient, and feels nice and luxurious when brushing hair.

Gets the job done!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To be perfectly honest... I think this is a very standard paddle brush. Performs fine and detangles my hair. It is comfortable on the scalp and is simple enough for anyone to use. Lady Jayne suggests to use this brush after curling your hair to separate the curls for a more wavy, blowout-looking, however, if your hair does not hold a curl well I do not recommend doing that. Otherwise, your hair will be dead straight in fifteen minutes or so. Personally, I found this brush far too large for my liking and wish it was smaller and purse-friendly.

Not for thick wavy hair
I received this brush for free as a replacement product.
I thought this brush was going to be good to use when blow drying my hair but it's not. It's quite useless. I have thick frizzy wavy hair and this brush isn't strong enough to get through my hair. It barely does anything. It doesn't even detangle my hair. If you have straight fine hair then I think this would work for you but hair that is anything other than that it doesn't brush through the hair as the bristles are too soft and flexible.

very poor quality
I purchased this brush in June 2020, it is now October 2020 and I already need a new brush. Initially the beads started coming off the bristles, then the whole bristle head came out of the brush and today the handle came off the brush completely. I am so disappointed!
