FIRST TIME QUICK GUIDE:

- For smooth and sleek styles, apply the straightening brush slowly from root to tip as you would normally use a paddle brush.

Great hot brush on the go
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lady Jayne Salon Pro Rechargeable Heated Straightening Brush was such a handy device to have around. It was easy to use and a quick brush through your hair really fixes your look. It doesn’t straighten the hair like a straightening tong does but it tames the hair and got rid of the fly-aways and frizz, giving a clean blow dry look.
It’s basically a lightweight hot brush that can be easily popped into your handbag and used on the go. Great for those late to work days and date nights!
I like the flashing indicator to let you know the battery is running low. It’s enough to finish off the current session but make sure you recharge it after use otherwise there won’t be enough left for next session. You can also change the temperatures with the click of a button. I usually use it at maximum heat and I can ensure you it doesn’t burn the hair.

Portable and easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love everything about this brush! This device is really easy to use. It is small and light, and comes with a nice black velvet pouch so you can take it with you everywhere. The instruction manual says that it takes about 3 hours to fully charge the brush but my charging time was much shorter than this. There are a decent range of temperatures to select from and the brush heats up quickly. The instruction manual, which I recommend you read, gives suggestions about the type of hair and recommended temperature to select. I have fine, medium-length long hair, and it only took me a matter of minutes to straighten all my strands. Not only were they straight but my hair was also soft. This brush is also lightweight so I didn't feel like it weighed heavily after some time while I was using it.

Love this cordless device!
I am so grateful to have this product in my life. It is the perfect on-the-go product.
I use it especially for touch-ups during the week. I only straighten my hair once a week and I now use this daily. My hair can get frizzy and a little wavy, so this is the perfect device for me. I can sit on the couch, walk around or be in the car and touch up my hair for a perfectly straight look!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WOW! To begin with, I am blown away by the quality, and how well the Lady Jayne Salon Pro Rechargeable Heated Straightening Brush straightens my hair!
So, to say that I was excited to receive this product as part of the trial crew is a little bit of an understatement! Slightly hesitant, but pretty ecstatic, as I have unruly hair that flicks up at the ends. The Lady Jayne Salon Pro Rechargeable Heated Straightening Brush worked wonders to create a sleek straight look!
The brush itself is very easy to use, and isn’t hot to the touch. The handle grip is easy to hold, and the brush has 37 double-sided ceramic bristles that heat up when required.
The instructions said to charge the brush for at least 3hrs before use, and I did just that! The first stroke through my hair was like magic - it straightened my hair instantly, and was so easy to use. It just glided straight my hair. With 25 minutes usage time per charge, it is the perfect portable straightener brush, and you’ll get several uses out of the device before it needs charging again. It comes with a velvet pouch, for easy and safe storage. The brush isn’t large, which means that it is perfect for the handbag and for fixing your hair on-the-go! I really do highly recommend the Lady Jayne Salon Pro Rechargeable Heated Straightening Brush! 5/5 star from me!

Straightening Brush

The cordless nature of this heated brush is an absolute winner. It makes styling so much easier not being connected to a wall! The brush charged quickly and has a convenient little carry bag that comes with it. It heats up as advertised on the box, and being able to select from 5 different heat options was great. The brush is great at smoothing down whispy bits and giving a more natural but still straight look. It won't quite give that early 2010's dead straight look though - but is that really a loss....

WOW!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven’t really had anything to do with styling brushes before and I was super excited to give this one a go.
I really loved how simple this was to use. I was worried having had no real experience with a styling brush it would be super complicated. Thankfully not the case. I did charge the brush for the 3 hours suggested, but the charge lasts a really long time, so it was worth the wait. It is super lightweight, so my arm wasn’t tired doing all the things I was desperate to try now having this amazing tool. I loved that you could adjust the temperature so my hair wouldn’t fry or singe off. Being a novice, I was a little nervous about this. I needn’t have worried. It was super quick to heat up too. The 90 seconds advertised on the box, wasn’t a marketing ploy.
I was unsure about the claim about the ionic technology, but I did notice that I didn’t have fly away or frizzy hair all day. I was even out in humidity and my hair didn’t poof… I also liked that my hair didn’t snag in the bristles of the brush. My hair didn’t tangle or knot either, so I loved that too. People with fine hair will understand the ease of knots. Ha ha!!!
I had so much fun playing with this and I would highly recommend this brush for the ease and comfort!

Great item for touch-ups
Works well to stop flyaways on a windy or humid day, but will never replace a flatiron in context to smoothness or straightness. But i still love it none the less and carry it with me for touchups on a long day out.

On the go hair essential
I have been looking for a device like this. My hair gets frizzy in the heat and rain which is the worst on a night out. I end up walk around all nice and dressed except my hair looks like I got electric. The cordless straightening brush is a blessing so I can quickly touch up before making my grand entrance and look flawless. Only downside is it need regular charging and is quite heavy.

Great straightening brush
I love this straightening brush, small, light, comes with a bag to carry it in, great for travel. I love how it's got different temperatures to choose from and not just one or two but 5, for different hair types, so it can be used for all sorts of hair types. I like it heats up pretty quick too. It's good for straightening all hair and for quick touch ups and it does a really good job. I love it being small and light and cordless means I can easily move it around, from one side to the other, different angles, move from one end of the room to the other to take it with me to my wardrobe mirror and not worry about any cords, which is really good. Very good straightening brush, I love it.

All Rounder!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After the very first time I tried this neat, rechargeable little brush, I knew it'd be a reliable and long-term handbag friend. Conveniently compact, perfect for travelling and when you're "On the go," it really does get the job done!
Results are efficient and quick.
The heated brush is comfortable and easy to use.
It charges up quickly, cools down fast enough, and comes in a pretty black and gold "Lady Jayne" velvet (storage) pouch that I think is enough to protect it if treated with care... I just stash it lightly inside a compartment of my carry bag along with its charger cord and some mobile phone accessories.
I always use products that help prevent heat damage whenever heat styling, but I've found the soft, almost flexible touch of the firm bristles, the heat control, and the general allover effect this brush has on my (slightly damaged) hair to be surprisingly gentle anyway. (Always good to know.)
I massage my scalp and then smooth over and style my hair, eliminating any/all frizz, and my hair is left shiny. The sheen lasts all day!
All in just a few minutes!!
So...
I believe this heated brush is suitable for most people, really.
It makes your hair beautiful, with no fuss.
It does not curl it glamorously. It does not straighten it out flawlessly.
It isn't necessarily the very best and most life-changing hairstyling tool in the whole universe. On your wedding day, you'll (probably) use other tools instead...
But it'll never fail to satisfactorily do what you need it to (every other day) and will probably be your good ol' faithful for a long time!

Great for touchups
I bought this when Chemist warehouse had them on half price recently.
I love the fact for it being portable and compact enough to carry in my handbag. It lives in my handbag since I bought it and it is not bulky or heavy at all to carry.
You have to charge it after every use because the charge only lasts to style your hair once.
My hair is medium length and frizzy so I love to use this to control the frizz and make my hair look smooth.
The only annoying thing is you have to remember to put it back on charge after use .
I often use this at lunch time after my lunch time walk to freshen up my hair at work. Love that I can use it at my desk just like a normal brush without worrying about cords.
I have also used this right before entering an event , just making sure my hair is smooth.
One thing to note is I found some of the outer bristles bent after just a couple use. I bent them back but every time I use it the bristles get wonky .

Great for on the go styling

As someone with frizzy hair this product was great for a quick fix and to keep those flyaways at bay! The controls were easy to use and the rechargeable feature is greta for travel. However, wouldn't use this product for a full straightened look, the brush is a bit too small and the product does not get hot enough to completely straighten hair. That being said, definitely going to keep this brush close when out and about!

The perfect touch up!

For pre teams meeting touch ups, to an easy freshen up before after work drinks I really found this brush does the job. It’s the perfect temperature to tame the unwanted frizz and flay aways while still protecting your hair allowing it to be an every day essential.

Lady Jayne brush
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is kinda of genius. I love hot tools but I hate having to plug them in, run out of room to move (for cord) & for them to die when you disconnect it.
The brush is easy to charge with the rechargeable cord and takes a few hours- then you are good to go.
The brush has a few settings with heat settings. I did find the brush took a little while to heat up to the top setting and to be honest it didn't feel as hot as my usual heat products. The brush section is quite small but easy to go through the hair in sections. The handle is easy to hold. I have alot of flyaways and frizz in my hair and I found this did a very nice job of straightening my hair and getting rid of my flyaways. It wasn't as good as my straighter but it did a good job.
I did find it snagged occasionally through my hair and pull - likely the hard bristles from the brush.
This will be perfect for the freshen up during the week when I just need to fix my hair without washing and styling again. Also perfect for traveling because I don't have worry about cords and big tools. It's the perfect size.

Easy and convenient

I found the hair straightening brush perfect for getting rid of the frizz especially in this humid and wet weather.
My favourite thing about this product is that it is compact and fits perfectly in my hand bag, it is rechargeable and portable and perfect for busy mums like me.its super convenient and I found I have been straightening my hair more often because of the ease of using this brush.
I have thin, stringy hair and I found the hair straightening brush easy to use and it kept my hair looking straight and feeling smooth for quite a while.my daughters hair is a lot thicker and I also found it to be easy to use on her hair, which was amazing as it usually takes a while to straighten her hair.
I love this product and would recommend to anyone who likes to be able to touch up their hair throughout the day or night.

Lady Jayne Rechargeable Heated Straightening Brush
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed taking part in the Lady Jayne Salon Pro Rechargeable Heated Straightening Brush trial team! The brush is very easy to use, with easy and straightforward controls/buttons. The included instructions are easy to understand and are helpful.
The brush has five heat settings, 160° worked well on my fine hair. Doing the wrist flick like it says in the instructions does add volume to my hair. When brushed down on top of my hair it smooths frizz. The brush handles small knots and does not get caught in my hair.
The 160° setting does not make the handle or the tips of the brush fins too hot to touch, because of that I am able to brush it down my hair like a normal brush without burning my scalp.
One charge lasts enough time for about one or two hairdos. I think this portable heated brush would be good for e.g.: sales representatives, people going out after work, dance mums, any sort of concert or performance.
I only found a few possible downsides with this brush. The first few times I turned the brush on it smelt like burning plastic, but it is fine now. When the brush is charging it makes a little bit of a high-pitched whining sound. The charge does not last a super long time (it states that a charge gives you 25 minutes of usage). You might accidentally press the temperature control button while using the brush.
The Lady Jayne Salon Pro Rechargeable Heated Straightening Brush has a nice black and copper design that is small/compact and not too heavy. It comes with a charging cable, a storage bag and instructions. And it does not come boxed in a heap of excessive packaging. It costs $84.99, but it will probably go on sale too.
Overall, I think his is a great little portable heated straightening brush that I will definitely continue to use.

Great portable product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Lady Jayne Salon Pro Heated Straightening Brush was quite a surprise product. I really didn't expect it to work well, and really set my expectations quite low.
I have short straight hair, and I knew that this product was more designed for those with longer hair that required more management to maintain their appearance.
However, I was really surprised with how well this product worked, and how quick and easy it was to use. It definitely worked better as a way to revive or top up a style. It helped revive a style at the end of the day - prepping for that transition from day tonight. It also worked well to tame hair that had become unruly or out of place throughout the day.
It's not quite handbag-sized for me, but it's definitely more portable as it is USB charged. I would love to take this on a romantic getaway for easy maintenance without the effort of a full sized straightener.

Handy brush for smoothing hair out
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A very aesthetic looking brush was my first impression. As I opened the packaging and saw the long charging cable, instant relief as I knew that charging this brush was going to be easy.
I turned on the product and adjusted the heat setting and was surprised by the speed of which the ceramic plates heated up.
Running the brush through my hair it felt exactly like a hair straightener but with added brush bristles to help tackle any knots.
It worked really well straightening out the random curves and kinks in my hair and I enjoyed using it for that purpose.
As I have thicker hair, I did find straightening out my whole head took a long time due to the limited surface area of ceramic heated bits so this product is definitely suitable for on the go styling for myself.
If you have thinner hair, I would imagine you could straighten all your hair quite quickly.
Overall I really like this rechargeable straightening brush for when I have random bed head that needs fixing.

Great gadget for on the go

On the looks - it looks quite chic, beautiful matte black with copper comb teeth. The pouch makes it very convenient to carry in a handle bag without getting messy. Buttons are minimal, easy to understand and yet provides enough options for different hair types.
Function - it heats up pretty quickly and is very user-friendly. Have to make sure that it is always charged though. After each use, the battery depleted fast but never before I could finish styling. It charges pretty fast and USB cable makes it very easy to charge it anywhere. As long as you brush your hair with a normal brush or comb before using this as suggested in the instructions, it doesn't get too messy and remains easy to clean. This brings me to the user manual - very much to the point and easy to understand. Full points for whoever prepared that.
For my hair in particular - I have thin, frizzy, moody hair. In humid weather, they are prone to throwing a tantrum. While this isn't the kind of tool I would use for styling on a bad hair day, it does come in handy for touch-ups or on occasions when I am in rush and just want to get a little bit of frizz under control without spending a full hour on styling.
Overall, a really good on-the-go lifesaver for touch up on unruly hair.

Brilliant for a top up after the gym

Overall I really enjoyed using this brush, I have short hair at the moment and the brush was simple to use.
It charges with a USB cable and then it is cordless when you use it. This made it ideal to throw in my bag to use when I was out and about. Normally I go to work with blow dried hair, go to the gym and then my hair ends up needing to be put in an elastic for the afternoon because it’s a hot mess - but with the Lady Jayne Salon Pro Rechargeable Straightening Brush it was easy to fix my hair and start again.
Perfect at touching up, I do need to mention that this baby didn’t allow me to get my hair straight in the first instance. Therefore it’s a great little heated touch up brush, but I don’t think it’s ideal for straightening.

A game changer

This item is a game changer.
I am frequently away from home, and never have the time to plug something in and wait for it to heat up before I can use it in the morning.
I often wake up with hair waving in odd places, and usually have to tie it up to avoid odd looking hair all day.
This product is AMAZING because I can charge it at home, pop it into its adorable little velvet bag, and take it with me anywhere I go!
It is small enough to fit in a handbag!
It doesn't take long at all to heat up. Only about 10 seconds and it's good to go.
I also absolutely love that it doesn't feel too hot to place on a surface like most styling products.
The only downside is that I have extremely static hair (I am like a science experiment in cool weather) and this brush does not tame the static as it states. This is the biggest disappointment as I am yet to find a product that takes away static.
However over all this is a great styling brush, extremely handy to travel with, and does the job!
Maybe they can create a rechargeable curler and hair dryer next ;)

Pocket rocket hair tool!

Also love the inclusion of a usb charger and a super sleek velvet pouch to hold it. I tend to take the early morning train to work when it's quite empty and generally do half my makeup while on the train to save time.. looks like this little beauty will be saving me a lot more time & getting me some more sleep!
I have quite frizzy & curly hair, with a lot of experience using a ton of hot tools and heated brushes, while I find this doesn't quite compare to the GHD hot brush, it definitely does do a good job at smoothing out my stubborn frizzy curls. I do wish the bristles were packed a bit closer together so it removed more of the frizz and had a smoother finish, as I do need to finish off styling with a flat iron since I like the sleeker look. However, if you have normal hair and not super frizzy, this product is a game changer since it is soooo convenient! It charges up super quickly. I plugged it in overnight and have even charged it for 2-3 hours during the day and found that it held its charge for atleast 2 styling sessions which was great! It also heats up super quick, I started off with the 180° setting but found that the 200° setting was perfect for my stubborn hair. Definitely recommend some form of heat protestant beforehand as I did need to go over each section a few times to get my desired level of sleekness. Best part was having this little beast handy while out and about to smooth out sny flyaways, or for spot touch ups.
Highly recommend you give it a go especially if you spend long days out of the house and love to have a convenient, compact hair styling system handy at all times!

Lovely brush with helped smooth wavy hair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you Beautyheaven and Lady Jayne for letting me trial the Lady Jayne Pro Rechargeable Straightening Brush.
The Brush comes in smart looking box with a first time quick guide printed on the side and the details of some key features on the other.
The brush is made from a matte black plastic which I found nice to the touch and it a type of plastic which I presume was chosen to assist with grip. The brush is a little heavy but since you should only be going over each section of hair once, it should not be too much of an issue. The weight I presume is due to the internal battery which can be charged via a USB cable (the same type which my android phone uses).
The controls for this straightening brush are based on two buttons. One is for turning it on and off (the rose gold button with the standard on/off symbol on it) and the other larger one (with a rose gold rim) is for changing the heat temperature between 5 options from 120C to 200C. Which heat setting you are on is indicated by a small led indicator next to the temperature values.
Since my hair is fine I tried heat settings 120C and 140C which were recommended for me. I followed the instructions and let the brush heat for 90 seconds before using on hair which was treated with heat protectant spray, dried then freshly brushed (as you want this straightening brush to glide through your hair and not snag on intertwined hair).
The end result was nice, my hair was straight and had a little volume. The instructions on the box did not say that I needed to do this but I noticed that the straightness of my hair did not last all day and by the end of the workday I saw my usual waves and frizz appear in my hair. So I tried a very light misting of hair spray and though it was not as bad, my hair has almost returned back to its wavy and frizzy way by the end of the day, therefore I do wonder if I should move to a higher heat setting instead to get and all day finish which I am probably going to try next.
The heated styling brush comes with a pouch for carrying it around in and to keep dust off the elements but I do wish that it was a stiffer case and not a soft fabric mainly due to fact that I am scared that I may accidently press and keep the on button pressed for long enough to turn on the brush. I know that the brush has safety features such as having a small on/off button which needs to be held down for a few seconds to help prevent accidently turning on the brush and the outer bristles are included to help protect the elements but a stiffer case (even if just for the second half) would of helped with peace of mind.
Overall this is a lovely product which looks beautiful and does a lovely job straightening my hair with a lovely finish. As mentioned I did have an issue with longevity of the look (it looked fine at 3pm but by 5pm, my hair no longer looked smooth and straight) but as I also mentioned earlier I will probably move on from the recommended heat settings to a higher one and see if there is any difference now that I have finished the trial using the recommended heat settings.
